Print Barcode Using Zebra GT820 (GT800 EPL)

Sometimes you want to use a unique marking system for your products with barcode to make the selling and transaction process easier and faster.
This article specifically explain the steps on installation and settings configuration of Barcode Printer Zebra GT820 (GT800EPL).

*Please using the Mozilla Firefox browser to print barcodes using Zebra GT820 Barcode Printer.

First thing you want to do is to connect your printer to your PC and install the driver. You can get the driver here click here

I. Install Printer Driver

Step 1. Open the downloaded driver, click next

Step 2. Tick accept the terms of the license agreement, Next

Step 3. Select the location of the driver installation folder, Next

Step 4. Select the user who wants to display the installation shortcut, Next

Step 5. After the installation process the program information will appear, Next

Step 6. Tick Run Zebra Setup, click Finish

Step 7.  The driver will preload the installation package to your system, Click Next

Wait for a moment

Step 8. Choose USB, Click next

Step 9. Connect the printer to the PC and turn off and turn on the printer again, Click Finish

Step 10. After the above steps are correct it will appear like this,

II. Setting Print Preview & Calibrate

Step 1. Double click on the barcode that has been installed ZDesigner GT800 (EPL)

Step 2. In the tab above select stocks click New

Step 3. You can adjust the size of your sticker label

* For maximum results please use a ruler to measure the width and height of your label paper,

 

Step 4. After setting the size of the label to display the print, you need to calibrate it so that the print results match

Go to Advance Setup, Media Settings - Thermal Transfer, Media Type - Label With Gaps, Calibrate, OK

III. Browser Print Menu (Mozila Firefox)

After you set the print preview, you need to set the sticker size on each label

Step 1. Go to product and choose print barcode

Step 2. Click more menu to set your label

Step 3. On this page you can set the size of your barcode sticker label

*For maximum results, please use a ruler to measure the width and height of your label paper,

and each measurement result is please be converted to pixel to match, click here

Default Sticker Configuration Settings :

(8.6cm x 2cm)

* Note : For the default settings above, it still needs to be adjusted

 

Step 4.  After setting the sticker size, go to more - Print

Step 5. Make sure the Page setup for the header & footer page margins is blank

Step 6. On the print tab, you can choose the printer to use. If there are still adjustments, please choose preferences for the print appearance
