In modern bookkeeping, the ability to zoom in on specific financial data is just as important as seeing the "big picture." One of the most critical tools for this granular analysis is the General Ledger (GL) Report, specifically when filtered to a Single Chart of Accounts (COA).
Whether you are reconciling a bank statement, investigating a discrepancy in your accounts payable, or tracking the exact flow of a specific expense category, viewing a report from a single COA provides the surgical precision needed for accurate financial oversight
I. Create Manual Journal
Step 1. Navigate to the Journal Menu and Select Manual Journal
Click Add button in the right corner
Step 2. Fill in the Journal Details
Once you are done click the Submit button in the right corner
Note: For example we are inputting a manual journal to record Meal Allowance (Biaya Makan)
Step 3. Manual Journal has been Successfully Submitted
II. Viewing Report in General Ledger
Step 1. Navigate to the Reports Menu then Select General Ledger
Step 2. Adjust the Filter then Click OK
The example below shows the Meal Allowance (Biaya Makan) COA reports from December 1st 2025 to December 29th 2025
As we can see in the screenshot below, we only have 1 journal for the Meal Allowance (Biaya Makan) COA from December 1st to December 29th 2025 and the total amount is Rp. 100.000,-
