Sometimes users need to change their password because they forgot it or want to keep their account secure. In DealPOS, passwords can be reset from two pages depending on access level. My Profile to change your own password, and Users to reset your own or other users’ passwords with proper permissions. This article explains both options so you can choose the right method.
I. Change password from My Profile
Step 1. Click on Store name, then click My Profile
Step 2. Input your new password Twice, then click Submit
Note: Your password has been successfully updated.
II. Change password from Users menu
To access this feature, you need Users menu access (View and Edit). If the Users menu is not visible, your login ID does not have the required access.
Step 1. Go to Users, then select the login ID
Step 2. Click Edit
Step 3. Input the new password Twice, then click Update
