For every online sales transaction made through a marketplace or e-commerce platform such as WooCommerce, there is typically a shipping fee charged to the customer.
In the sales transaction integration process between DealPOS and WooCommerce, shipping fees can be synchronized using a non-inventory product created in DealPOS. To synchronize shipping fees from WooCommerce as a non-inventory product, please follow the steps below.
I. Create Shipping Fee Product in POS
Step 1. Go to POS, Create New Product
Step 2. Use Non-Inventory Type for the Shipping Fee Product
Step 3. Assign SKU/Code for the Shipping Fee Product
Note:
Make sure you fill the product code for the shipping fee product. The product code in POS and WooCommerce must match.
II. Map the Shipping Fee Product in the Omni Apps
Step 1. Go to Channel, Click the WooCommerce Channel, Click Edit
Step 2. Go to Advanced Tab, Map the Shipping Fee Product
Fill in the shipping fee code according to the product code previously created in DealPOS.
Step 3. Click Submit
III. Transactions with Shipping Fee Example
Step 1. Sample Transaction in WooCommerce which Contain Shipping Fee
Step 2. Check the Transaction in the Orders Menu in POS
The shipping fee from WooCommerce sales transaction will be recorded as Product.
