In the DealPOS application, on the report menu, several tabs display sales reports from several versions. What we want to discuss now is that the Sales Report from the Category tab is different from the Sales Report from the Details tab. For the explanation will be informed below.

So "Why Total Sales Amount in Category Sales is different from Report Detail?"
It will only happen when we use the B. Invoice Discount Amount.
The answer is Report Category Sales can't count which Product Category is discounted if there are 2 Product Categories (or more) in one invoice with Discounted Amount. The system can't count which Product Category is discounted.
