How to Set Minimum Fraction Digits in Inventory Value

Configuring and using the minimum fraction digits config for inventory value.

Fractional digits refer to the number of digits that appear after the decimal point (.). When displaying floating-point or double values, you may want to control how many decimal places are shown. This article will guide you through setting the minimum number of fractional digits for inventory valuation and defining your preferred decimal precision.


Step 1. Navigate to Settings Menu

Enter the Fraction keyword like in the screenshot below

Step 2. Set Quantity Fraction Digits

You can configure the number of decimal places by setting the Minimum and Maximum Fraction Digits. You can set a minimum of 0 digits and a maximum of 4 digits. Once you are done click the Save button.

Step 3. Check the Inventory

Before we set the fraction digits the inventory qty wil be display as the screenshot below.

After setting the fractional digits, the inventory quantity appears as shown in the screenshot below.
