Adding a payment method aims to record the payment methods provided by sales or to keep a record for a report of the most used payment method. Additionally, if you have connected DealPOS with the omnichannel, this Payment Method also used for differentiate the payment method used for each integrated channel via the omnichannel setup.
When adding the payment method, you can also set the payment method Tag/Type. Payment method tag/type can be used to categorize the payment methods based on their types. To create the payment method types, you can follow the steps below
Step 1. Go to Setup Menu, More Menu, click Tag Payment Method
Step 2. Click Add Button
Click Add Button to Add New Payment Method Type
Enter the name for the Type (Example: Card), and then click Save
Step 3. New Payment Method Tag/Type was Created
So when you want to Create new transactions, the Payment method Type will be available
