Cross-selling is one of the most popular marketing strategies because it is quite effective in increasing sales. For the example, when we are buying sugar, the cashier usually suggests also purchasing coffee or tea. This is part of the cross-selling strategy, which involves offering additional products related to the main product being purchased.
In DealPOS, You can make a Cross Selling product. To see how to make a Cross selling product and how the cross sell works, you can follow the steps below:
I. Set up Cross Sell Product
Step 1. Go to the Products and click on your Product that you want to set the Cross sell product inside the product
Step 2. Edit the product and Fill the Cross sell properties
For the example, We will make the Cola as the Cross Sell Product for the Hamburger.
II. Set up the Quick Key for the Cross Sell Product
In order to use the Cross Sell feature in the Sell menu, we must set the quick key for the cross sell product. Whenever the Hamburger was added into the Selling cart by using Quick Key, the Cola will be automatically appeared in the quick key as the Optional Addition.
Step 1. Go to the Outlet and Click on the selected outlet quick key
Step 2. Make the quick key
Ensure both main product and the cross sell product are assigned to the same quick key template. The cross selling feature will not work if the quick ke ycontains only one of the products. Additionally, the cross sell product must have variants.
III. How the Cross Sell Product Feature Works
Step 1. Go to the Sell menu and input the Main product from the Quick Key
Step 2. The additional product will be automatically appeared in the quick key
This way, you can offer the customer the option of whether they want to add related additional products or not. If they do, you only need to click on one or several of the additional products.
Step 3. Click on the previous arrow button to reset the quick key header
Note:
*The cross-sell feature can only be used if the main product is added into selling cart by using the quick key feature
