A promotional event is a promotion within a certain period. Promotions here include discounts on products and other things. To create a promotion event, you can check the following article: Promotion Event.
In DealPOS we provide Publish Promotion Events, the function is to update the cashier user who is selling on the Sell menu directly when the promotion event changes (for example, there is a change in products, discount amount, period change, etc.). Before this feature existed, when there was a change in a promotion event, the cashier had to relog first so that the promotion changes were updated
Step 1. Check Promotion Event on the Cashier User
Here we create a promotion event amount with a minimum spending of IDR 200,000
Then we try to apply for a purchase with a nominal value of IDR 200,000, and the promotion is active on the cashier display
Step 2. Edit Promotion Amount Promotion event
Next, we try editing the promotion by changing the amount to IDR 100,000
Then we return to the cashier display and try entering a transaction with a nominal value of IDR 100,000, here the status is still not eligible while we have changed the promotion amount to IDR 100,000
Step 3. Publish Promotion Event
Then we return to the promotion menu then we try to click publish as in the picture
Step 4. Check the Promotion Event after we Publish it
After we publish it, in the promotion event display the cashier can input the amount of IDR 100,000
