How to Add a New Category

Adding a new category helps keep your items organized and easy to manage. In this guide, you’ll learn how to create a new category step by step, fill in the required fields correctly, and save your changes without errors.

You’ll also discover how to add subcategories to better group similar items, making navigation faster and inventory management more efficient. By the end of this guide, you’ll be able to structure your categories clearly and keep everything neatly organized.


I. Add Category from Main Page

Step 1. Go to the Category menu in Products, then right-click and select Add.

Step 2. Enter the category name and press Enter.

To add a Subcategory, right-click the parent category and click Add.

II. Add Category Using the Add Button

Step 1. Go to the Category menu in Products and Click Add

Step 2. Enter the Category details, then click Submit.

To add a subcategory, edit the category and select the desired parent category.

Step 3. Check the Category

You have successfully created a new category. The category is now ready to use.

Note: You can enable the product count to show the total products in the category.
