DealPOS now extends these capabilities through DealPOS AI, which can be integrated with ChatGPT. By connecting ChatGPT directly with your DealPOS account, you can analyze business data, generate reports, and retrieve insights using natural, everyday language. Instead of manually compiling spreadsheets or navigating multiple reports, you can simply ask questions and receive instant, actionable answers.
I. ChatGPT Desktop App Installation
You can download the application in the following link: ChatGPT Download
Step 1. Navigate to Settings Menu
Step 2. Click Security and Login then Activate Developer Mode
Step 3. Click Plugins & Click Browse Plugins
Step 4. Add New Plugins
Enter the name and URL as the following screenshot then click Create button
Sign in with DealPOS AI
II. Get DealPOS API Credentials and Start Connection
Step 1. Log in to DealPOS to get the API Credential
Navigate to My Profile menu
If the Client does not appear you can click the Generate button
Note:
Ensure that you already have access to Developer section
Step 2. Copy and Paste the Credentials
Enter your DealPOS URL, Client ID, and Client Secret as the screenshot below and click Authorize button.
Step 3. Verify Connection click Button Refresh
Step 4. Try to see the Best Sellers Products Using a Prompt
Start a new chat and enter the prompt
Note:
The authorization remains valid indefinitely as long as you continue using it. It will persist unless you regenerate either your Client ID or Client Secret, or force a logout of the user from the Users menu.
You will need to reconnect to the connector from ChatGPT / Claude if you remain idle or do not use the MCP Tools for 90 days.
