How to Configure Price Display for Return Transactions

Learn how to configure product price and discount display when processing Sales Return transactions using the Nett or Original option.

Written by Christian Wijaya

The Shopping Cart Product Price configuration allows you to choose how product prices and item-level discounts are displayed when processing Sales Return transactions.

You can choose between displaying the price after the discount has been applied (Nett) or displaying the original price with the discount recorded separately (Original).

I. How to Configure the Shopping Cart Product Price

Step 1. Go to Settings and navigate to Module > Sell > Shopping Cart Product Price.

II. How the Configuration Works

The following example shows a sales transaction with a product price of Rp100,000 and an item-level discount of Rp10,000, resulting in a total of Rp90,000.

Nett Option

When Nett is selected, the product price in the Sales Return transaction is displayed as Rp90,000, reflecting the price after the discount has been applied. The discount is not displayed separately.

Original Option

When Original is selected, the product price is displayed as Rp100,000, with the item-level discount of Rp10,000 shown separately. The final amount remains Rp90,000, matching the original transaction.

Summary

Both options result in the same final amount of Rp90,000. The difference is how the product price and item-level discount are displayed and recorded in the Sales Return transaction.
