Manufacture Workflow

To find out the difference between instant and planning manufacture job order.

The Manufacturing feature will be very useful for you if you buy raw materials & manage them into finished products, such as a bakery/cake shop, furniture store (own production), etc. We can also calculate service expenses in the process of managing raw materials in the manufacturing menu.

DealPOS provides 2 different workflows for manufacturing, they are instant and with planning. This article will explain the difference between instant workflow and workflow with planning when creating a manufacturing job order.


I. Configure Workflow

Step 1. Go to Setup, then Click More Menu

Step 2. Go to AddOns Configuration

Step 3. Go to Manufacture Tab

Step 4. Choose Workflow, then Click Save

II. Job Order with Planning

Step 1. Go to Inventory, then Check Manufacture Product Stock

Example :

We check the "RAINBOW CAKE" manufacture product and the quantity is 3004.

Step 2. Go to Manufacture, then Click New

Add New Job Order

Step 3. Choose Outlet, then Click Ok

Choose Outlet

Notes :

An outlet form will appear if the user has more than one outlet.

Step 4. Make Job Order, then Click Submit

Step 5. Input Job Order Description (Optional), then Click Ok

Step 6. The Job Order was Completed

Step 7. Go to Inventory, then Recheck Manufacture Product Stock

RAINBOW CAKE stock will show 3004 quantity until the user executes the job order plan on manufacture (same as they were before the job order was created).

Notes :

  1. When using workflow with a plan, stocks in materials and manufactured products remain the same as they were before the job order was created.

  2. Users must execute the plan if they want to add stock to the manufacturing product.

Step 8. Go to Manufacture, then Select Job Order

Step 10. Go to Inventory, then Recheck Manufacture Product Stock

RAINBOW CAKE stock will show a 3005 quantity (increase by one) after the user executes the plan.

III. Instant Job Order

Step 1. Go to Inventory, then Check Manufacture Product Stock

Example :

We check the "RAINBOW CAKE" manufacturing product and the quantity is 3005.

Step 2. Go to Manufacture, then Click New

Add New Job Order

Step 3. Choose Outlet, then Click Ok

Notes :

An outlet form will appear if the user has more than one outlet.

Step 4. Make Job Order, then Click Submit

Step 5. Input Job Order Description (Optional), then Click Ok

Input Job Order Description (Optional)

Step 6. The Job Order was Completed

The Job Order was Completed

Step 7. Go to Inventory, then Recheck Manufacture Product Stock

The RAINBOW CAKE stock will show 3006 quantity (increase by one) automatically without executing the plan.

Notes :

Product stock will automatically be updated.
