Learn how to configure required fields when creating new customer contacts

In this setup, it will help you add more required fields when creating a new contact. For example, if you set Mobile and Address as required fields, they will become mandatory.

When creating a new contact, you must provide Mobile and Address, otherwise, if you leave these fields empty, an error message will appear. We will guide you on how to configure your required fields.


I. Setup Field Configuration

Step 1. Go to Setup, Click More Menu, then Choose Module

Step 2. Go to Contact Tab then Scroll Down

Step 3. Configure Mandatory Field for Contact

Notes :

We try to make Mobile Phone & Address to be required. So, user must fill Mobile Phone & Address field when adding new customer.


II. Create New Customer on Contacts Menu

Step 1. Add New Customer without Mobile Phone and Address

Notes :

Error message (because you haven't add a mobile phone and address).

Step 2. Fill Mobile Phone and Address Field then Click Save

Step 3. Recheck New Customer

You've just added a new customers contact.

III. Create New Customer on Sell Menu

Step 1. Add New Customer without Mobile Phone and Address

Notes:

Error message (because you haven't add a mobile phone and address).

Step 2. Fill Mobile Phone and Address Field then Click Ok
