Currently, DealPOS has a new role "Sensitive Fields". This configuration is intended to restrict your users/employees from accessing personal features such as (Photos, Phone Numbers, Emails, and others). "Sensitive Fields" configuration is available for the Products & Contacts Menu. And for this article, I will explain how to set it up for the Contacts menu.
Here are the steps below:
I. How to Configure Sensitive Fields
Step 1. Go to Setup, then Click More Menu & Click Configuration Module
Step 2. Go to Setup, then Click More Menu & Click Configuration Module
In this configuration setting, you can choose which features you want to hide or restrict.
II. Grant Sensitive Fields Products Roles to Group
Step 1. Go to Users, then Choose Groups you Want to Restrict
Step 2. Click More Permission on Tab Contacts, then Checklist *Sensitive Field*
III. Sensitive Roles Example
Here is an example of hidden data where users have been given restrictions. The data will not be displayed.
