Integrate DealPOS With RFID Machine

Connect your RFID devices to DealPOS for integrated scanning process

You can now integrate your RFID device with the DealPOS application. This integration aims to simplify the process of scanning your product data using an RFID device. You can perform the product data scan in the Buy and Logistic Transfer Order menus. To learn more about how to integrate your RFID device with DealPOS, please follow the guide below.


I. Application Requirements And RFID Middleware Installation For User Device

These requirement applies to any computer or laptop that will be used to input products using RFID hardware. If you have multiple devices, you will need to set up each one individually.

  1. RFID Device provided from PT RFID Indonesia

  2. Windows 10 Up

  3. NET SDK v8.0 Installed On Device

  4. RFID Middleware Application

To install the .NET SDK v8.0 and the RFID Middleware, you can follow the steps below:

Step 1. Install .NET SDK 8.0

The first step in using the RFID machine is to download the .NET SDK v8.0. application. Do not use any other version. You can download the application from the following link .NET SDK v8.0. Once downloaded, install the application to proceed with the next steps

Step 2. Download and Open the RFID Middleware

To run the integration between the RFID machine and DealPOS, you need to install a middleware application on the computer or laptop that will be connected to the RFID device. You can download the RFID middleware application from the following link: Download RFID Middleware.

Open the downloaded file then extract it before opening the RFIDMiddleware.exe

Step 3. Check the RFID Middleware certificate

Before you run the RFID Middleware, you need to install the HTTPS certificate first via the command prompt.

Run the "dotnet dev-certs https --trust" on the command prompt.

After that command is successfully installed, then open the EXE file and make sure the application is opened and displaying https://127.0.0.1:5001

Step 4. Check the RFID Middleware Connection

Open any web browser, then click this link to check the connection RFID Middleware Test Connection

If your computer screen displays the following screen, it means your computer has successfully connected to the RFID Middleware.

If you get a Connection error is not private, do the following steps

Click the Advanced button.

Proceed to localhost

Step 5. Fill the IP and click Connect

Fill the IP Address from the RFID Device and click Connect to test the connection

Step 6. Connection Success

If the connection success, there will be a toaster that shows you the connection status from the RFID Middleware

II. Using RFID In The Logistic and Buy Menu

Step 1. Go to Logistics/Buy menu and Click More Actions

Step 2. Click on the Connect RFID

Step 3. Input the Host URL and click Ok

The Host URL will be retrieved automatically by DealPOS

Step 4. RFID is now connected

Step 5. Put the Products Into the RFID Device

The product will be added to the cart automatically, and the quantity will be filled in based on the number of items detected by the RFID device.
