When the cashier makes a sales transactions, it may not be processed if the product stock is empty or not enough in the system. This could be due to the item being reserved in-store or other reasons.

In DealPOS, we can validate stock availability in the sales menu using the Validate Inventory feature. This ensures that for large transactions, the cashier does not need to manually check which products are out of stock in the system manually. To see how the validate inventory feature works, you can follow the steps below:

Step 1. Check Inventory Product

For example, let's consider an Adidas Cap product with a stock availability of 9 units at the offline store.

Check Stock Product

Step 2. Go to the Sell Menu then Add the Product to the Cart.

Input Quantity Product

In this example, we are entering quantity for 10 Adidas Cap.

Input Quantity Product

Step 3. Click Validate Inventory

Click on the More actions tab and click Validate Inventory

Click Validate Inventory

Step 4. Check Product in Cart

After clicking Validate Inventory, a notification will appear indicating which products are out of stock and cannot be sold.
