Retail businesses (for example: minimarket) often rely on suppliers or vendor for the products they sell. In some cases, suppliers may require access to sales reports for the items they supply. If your supplier have a similiar requires, DealPOS already provides this feature, please see the explanation below:
For example, we are using 2 sample shoes brands, Nike and Adidas. In this cases, we want to allow each Vendor to be able access the sales report only for their own product.
Step 1. Make sure your product is having Brand properties
*If you have not yet apply the brand properties for each product, you can check this following article for more details.
Step 2. Create login id and user groups for each Supplier/Vendor
For the next step you can create new login id and user's group for each Vendor, for example we create a user group for Adidas Brand (Click here to learn how to setup login id/user groups).
Step 3. Manage access user groups
The only access needed for this case is Report - View, so you can enable it by crosscheck the roles.
In Restriction tab, please assign the Brand, here is the example:
Step 4. Login to Vendor account to crosscheck the configuration has been configured properly
Now each vendor can access their own sales product reports without previewing sales product from another brand's.
That's all, now you can give the credentials (login id & password) to the vendor to allow them check the report by themself.
