Have you ever faced a situation where your cashier ran out of paper during a transaction? After refilling the paper, the receipt wasn’t printed, but they needed to reprint the invoice. However, since you removed their reprint access to prevent fraud, they couldn’t reprint it outside the print pop-up. This can be confusing because there’s no way to reprint the invoice if the cashier doesn’t have reprint access.
To solve this, we created a feature that allows your cashier to reprint invoices for a limited time. You can set a timer to let them access the reprint button from the Orders menu. Here’s how it works:
I. How to Setup
Step 1. Go to Settings Menu, Select Search Box, then type 'Reprint' after that click at the first option
Step 2. Set the Duration and then Click Save
Notes:
Users without the "Print" role can reprint only within the set time (In seconds) after invoice creation.
II. How it Works
If the "Reprint" roles is not enabled, and we already set the timer for 30 seconds.
Create a sell
Then check on Orders > That invoice number, the print invoice button will still visible for certain time.
After the timer that we set is finish, the print invoice button will be gone.
