Products are one of the core components in DealPOS, as they are used in sales, purchasing, inventory management, and reporting. By maintaining complete and accurate product information, you can streamline daily operations, track stock levels more effectively, and generate reliable business reports.
Before using DealPOS to process any transactions, you need to add your product data first. There are two ways to add products: you can create them directly through the user interface, or import them in bulk using an Excel with CSV format.
To add or create products through the Products menu, you can follow the steps below.
I. Add a New Product (Single Variant)
Step 1. Go to the Products Menu and then click the Add Button
Step 2. Enter Product Details
Then click the Save button to save the product data.
II. Add New Products (Multiple Variants)
Step 1. Go to the Products Menu and click the Add Button
Step 2. Select Multiple and Enter Product Variants
Notes: Multiple-variant products are products that come in different variations, such as sizes or colors. In the example above, the T-shirt has multiple variants based on size.
Step 2. Fill the detail in Product Variants
Click edit button on one of the product variants
Fill the detail variant in the edit variant form and click Ok
Click the Save button to save the product with multiple variants
Notes:
If you need to set a default Category when creating a new product, you can configure it by navigating to Setup → Module → Product.
