We currently provide 3 types of product specification payment types. There are Cash, Points, and both Cash and Points. This feature's purpose is to make you be able to not only create a payment using cash, but also you can use points for payment or a combination of both points and cash. You can follow the steps below to create a Product using a specified payment type:
I. How to Enable the Feature
Step 1. You can go to the Products menu, click on the variant, click edit, scroll down to the bottom page, click on advanced, choose one of the Payment Types in the Payment Type form, and click Submit
Note: You can set the configuration when you create a product by editing the product, and then choose the type of payment according to the payment type (cash, points, and both cash and points)
II. How the Feature Works
If you already set the product's payment specifications type, you can try to make transactions and see how the payment specifications work on each type. You can also see the difference by following the scenario by using each of the payment specification types on the product during the transaction below:
Scenario 1. Using Payment Type Cash and Point
If you set up the product's payment specification type with cash and point, the product will be able to be paid using both cash and points during transactions.
Scenario 2. Using Payment Type Cash
If you set up the product's payment specification type with only cash, the product will be able to be paid using only cash during transactions even if your customer is having Loyalty Point.
Scenario 3. Using Payment Type Point
If you set up the product's payment specification type with only points, the product will be able to be paid using only points during transactions. If you try to use cash as a payment type, there will be a notification that you can only use points as a payment type, and your transaction will be unfinished.
