A customer is a person or organization that purchases goods or services from a store or business. Saving customer data helps you generate sales reports based on customer names and makes it easier to identify your loyal or top customers. This information can also be used as a reference for future transactions and customer management.
In this article, we will explain how to configure the “Add Customer” button in the Sell menu. You can disable this feature if cashiers are not allowed to add new customer data while creating sales transactions.
Step 1. Go To Settings, then type in search column "Quick Add Enabled"
Step 2. Click the search result and set the toggle to "No"
Step 3. After set the toggle to "No", you won't be able to add new customer through sell menu
The "Add Customer" button becomes unclickable when this configuration is set to "No". To revert this setting, repeat the previous step and change it to "Yes".
Note:
If users have the Create Contact role enabled in their group, they will still be able to create customer contact data from the Contact menu.
