In some cases, you might want to create a transaction where each product listed in the shopping cart is shipped from different warehouses or outlets.
You may wish to decrease the stock of each product according to its respective warehouse or outlet. In such situations, you can use the Split Fulfillment Feature to differentiate where the stock reduction occurs at each outlet.
This article will explain how to split outlet fulfillment for each product in the shopping cart on one invoice.
I. Activate Split Delivery on Sell
Step 1. Go to Setup, then Click More Menu
Step 2. Select Module (Configuration)
Step 3. Go to Sell Tab, then Scroll to Product Dialog Section
Step 4. Enable Split Delivery Outlet, then Click Save
II. Split Delivery / Fulfillment on Sell
Step 1. Go to Sell, then Make Sales Transaction
In this tutorial, an example of sales made from outlet 1 will be demonstrated. Add items to the shopping cart (add more than 1 item).
Step 2. Click Item to Split Fulfillment
We are trying to send the "Rabbani Bag" product from another outlet.
Step 3. Choose Different Outlet to Deliver
We try to choose "Outlet2" for outlet fulfillment. So, even though the order is placed at Outlet 1, the stock of this product will be deducted from Outlet 2.
Step 4. Check Outlet Fulfillment Status
The system will display which outlet the product will be shipped from (if it's shipped from a different outlet). This message will not be displayed when printing the invoice.
Step 5. Check Fulfillment in Order Details
After completing the transaction, check the fulfillment records in the order details from the orders menu. You can check there are 2 fulfillments from 2 different outlets.
