This article explains how to configure rounding taxes and total sales. If you make a transaction with the nominal sales that have commas. Rounding prices make consumers more likely to buy products with the desired motivation. However, non-rounded prices make consumers tend to buy similar products for rational reasons, such as a need. And also it makes your report neater. How set-up rounding prices? you may check this step below :
Step 1. Go to Setup, Click More Menu, then Choose Application
Step 2. Choose Rounding Tab, then Configure the Rounding
Select Math, and you can choose the Decimal Place Value and Math Method for the rounding and also you can setup the tax.
Decimal Place Value and Math Method Property Index :
Decimal Place Value
Rounds number after thousand decimal points.
Rounds number after the hundreds decimal point.
Rounds number after the tenth decimal point.
Rounds number after the comma
Will not Rounds the number
Rounds to 2nd digit number after decimal behind the comma
Rounds to 3rd digit number after decimal behind the comma
Step 3. Set Decimal Place Value and Math Method, then Click Save
After you've set up the Decimal Place Value and Math Method, you can click on the save button, then you can try the rounding on the Sell menu.
For example, here we are using the Decimal Place Value '1.000-Thousands' and Math Method 'Round' which is to round up the total sales to 1 digit after the decimal points.
Step 4. Make Sales Transaction to Check the Result
