When using Multi Unit product type, you can convert base unit stock into multi unit stock. Below are the steps and an example:
Example :
In this case, I have an example product named 'Coca-Cola'. I have 2 boxes of Coca-Cola and 11 bottles of Coca-Cola. 1 Box of Coca-Cola contains 6 bottles. So, from 11 bottles I want to convert it into 1 box. So, the current inventory will be 3 Boxes and 5 bottles. Let's just start.
As you can see in my inventory I have 2 boxes of Coca-Cola and 11 bottles of Coca-Cola. I want to convert 6 bottles of Coca-Cola into 1 box
Step 1. Go to Adjustment, then Select Convert Unit to Parent
Click the more menu on the adjustment menu.
You will be redirected to this page.
On this page, you need to input how many boxes you want to convert. In this case only want to convert it to 1 box. So it will input 1 on the form. After that, just click the 'Confirm Adjustment' button on the top right corner.
Step 2. Adjustment Display was Opened
An Adjustment Info page will show up if you complete it right.
Step 3. Recheck UoM Inventory Again
Go to inventory to view adjusted inventory. As you can see here, my inventory will be 3 boxes and 5 bottles now.
