If you sell products that are not immediately received by the customer because they must go through several processes such as creating a new order, picking the items from the warehouse, packing, and shipping. You'll likely want to see details such as the transaction number and the products involved at each stage. To meet this need, you can use the Order Fulfillment Display application (ods.dealpos.app) provided by DealPOS.
To configure and use the ods.dealpos.app application, you can follow the steps below.
I. Configuration For ODS App Activation
Step 1. Go to Outlet, Select Any Outlet that you want to enable the Order Fulfillment Display, And Click Edit Button
Step 2. Go to Advance Tab, Enable Order Display, then Click Save
II. Opening The Order Fulfillment Display
Step 1. Go to ods.dealpos.app, sign in using your DealPOS account and user
Note: You have to select the DealPOS domain to proceed sign in using your account (dealpos.net, dealpos.co.id, or dealpos.com)
Step 2. Choose the Order fulfillment display mode to Walk In and click Next
Step 3. Select the Outlet and Category
Select the outlet for which you have previously enabled the Order Fulfillment Display configuration, then choose the product category you want to display (optional).
Step 4. You will see a list of orders based on their processing status on this screen
The Order Fulfillment Display will show a list of sales transactions created using the Park feature in the Sell menu. To learn more about the Park and Retrieve feature when creating a sales transaction, please visit the following link: Park and Retrieve for Retail Business
III. Using The Order Fulfillment Display
Step 1. Go to Sell menu, Input items on the cart, click Park button
Note: Each time you create a parked order, your computer or device will play a notification sound to indicate that a new order has been received (as long as the sound settings on your device browser are enabled).
Step 2. Open the ods.dealpos.app and check on the New Order tab
The first time sales transaction that are created as parked orders will automatically appear in the New Order tab on the Order Fulfillment Display.
Step 3. Click on Pick button to proceed the pick status on the order
Click the Pick button to change the order status from New Order to Pick. By clicking the Pick button, we can assume that the store team want to inform the warehouse team to picking up the items in the order and brought them to the store.
The warehouse team can see the list of items that need to be brought to the store on the Pick tab.
Step 4. Click on Pack button to proceed the pack status on the order
Click the Pack button to change the order status from Pick to Pack. By clicking the Pack button, we can assume that the warehouse team has finished picking the items in the order and brought them to the store and also want to inform the Store team to Pack the items.
The store team can see the list of items that need to be packed in the Pack tab.
Step 5. Click on Ship button to proceed the Ship status on the order
Click the Ship button to change the order status from Pack to Ship. By clicking the Ship button, we can assume that the store team has finished packing the items listed in the order and is ready to proceed the shipping to the delivery service (courier)
The store team can see the list of items in the order that have been handed over to the delivery service and are currently on their way to the customer in the Ship Tab
Step 6. Go Back to the Sell menu, Retrieve the park order, and Pay the sales transactions to complete the order
After you've done processing the status on the order fulfillment display, you can retrieve and pay the parked orders to finish the sales transaction. As the sales transaction is completed and the customer invoice is printed, the orders from the order fulfillment display will be vanished
