Sometimes, when you're using the Google Chrome browser, a pop-up appears asking if you’d like to save your username or password as you log into a website. If you accidentally click “Save” or simply no longer want your login details stored—whether for privacy, security reasons, or just to clean things up—you can easily remove the saved information.
Follow the steps below to delete stored usernames or passwords in Google Chrome and take control of your personal data.
Step 1. Open Browser Google Chrome, Select More Menu, Then Settings
Step 2. Select Autofill and Password, then Google Password Manager
Step 3. Select Which One You Want to Delete
Step 4. Choose One and Delete
Note:
To stop Google Password Manager from asking to save your passwords, go to Settings and toggle off the option "Offer to save passwords and passkeys."
