If you’re experiencing an issue where your username and password remain stored even after logging out of the system, don’t worry this is usually caused by the browser’s autofill feature. When autofill is enabled, your login credentials may still appear in the fields even though you’ve already signed out. To prevent this, you’ll need to adjust your browser settings and disable the autofill option for usernames and passwords. Follow the steps below to make sure your information stays secure and your account remains protected.
I. Remove Username and Password from Browser
Step 1. Click Key Button, then Manage Passwords
Step 2. Click on DealPOS, Select Which One to Delete, Then Delete
II. Disable Chrome for Offering to Save User Password
Step 1. Click on Key Icon, Then Manage Passwords
Step 2. Click Settings
Step 3. Turn Off "Offer to save passwords and passkeys"
By default, this setting is turned on. This means that every time you log in to any website not just DealPOS the browser will ask whether you want to save your username and password.
You can simply turn this setting off, so the browser will no longer ask to save your passwords.
