Create New Shift Closure Manually (Add Previous Shift)

How to manually add a shift closing report in case the cashier forgets to close the shift.

A shift is typically used to manage work hours when a store has multiple employees. Shifts are also useful for indicating who is working at a given time. The Add Manual Shift feature allows you to create a new shift by manually entering data. This feature helps you review reports from the previous shift by generating a new one based on the inputted data, including the Register, Cashier Name, and Invoice Date. A manual shift is usually used when certain transactions or records were missed or not properly recorded in the previous shift. To add New Shift Closure Manually, you can follow the steps below:

Step 1. Go to Shift, then Select Previous Shift-Tab

Step 2. Click Add button

Step 3. Fill the Shift Form, then Click Preview

Fill it with the Register from the outlet and cashier name and also fill in the Invoice date with the data you want to show on the manual shift that will be created later.

Step 4. Scroll Down to Preview Shift

Step 5. Click Add, Fill Shift Note & Visitors (Optional), then Click Save

Try to check your shift on the previous shift.
