Omnichannel integration is one of the features that DealPOS has, so that when there is a sales transaction in the marketplace, it will be recorded into POS and automatically generate a sales report, then it will also make a stock deduction on the products that have been sold. Omnichannel integration will make it easier for users to record sales reports, especially if users use multiple marketplace channels.
Scan channel is a feature to scan products to ensure that all products are synchronized between POS and marketplace. At certain times, users must scan channels to ensure synchronization or to update data between DealPOS and Omnichannel.

I. Scan Options
DealPOS has provided 2 options for users when performing scans, namely: Asynchronous and Synchronous.
The difference between the two is, in Asynchronous scanning the product scanning process is done behind the scenes (background) so there will be a notification when it is finished. While in Synchronous the product scanning process is done in front, so you have to wait until the process is complete.
A. Scan Asynchronous
Asynchronous product scanning is suitable when users need to use other menus in Omnichannel while scanning products, because the process is done in the background so that users can still access other menus.
Once the scanning is completed, there will be a notification in the right corner.
You can also access the notifications in the Notification menu.
Notes :
The advantage of this method is that users can accessing other menu in Omnichannel
The disadvantage of this method is twhen user accessing other menu it could slow down the product's scanning
B. Scan Synchronous
When users want to scan channels only without doing other activities, it is recommended to use Synchronous Scan.
User have to wait until the loading is complete and can't access other menu.
Notes :
The advantage of this scan type is the loading process is faster because user can't access other menu.
The disadvantage of this scan type is user have to wait until the scanning is complete if they want to access other menus.
II. Scan All Products
For the first time Omnichannel integration, user have to do all products scanning to sycnhronize all products from marketplace to DealPOS.
Step 1. Navigate to the Products menu
Click the Scan Channel button, and the select the marketplace channel.
Step 2. Select Scan All Products
Notes:
Scan type
Full = sycnhronize all proucts in the marketplace, including the non-active products.
Active = only synchronize active products only
Step 3. Scanning is complete
III. Scan Updated Products
The scan updated product is used when the user has just finished editing a product or product variant, either from through DealPOS or Omnichannel. Users can scan from any menu tab, scanning needs to be done so that product data can be synchronized between DealPOS and the marketplace.
Step 1. Navigate to the Products Menu
Click the Scan Channel button, and the select the marketplace channel.
Step 2. Select Scan Updated Products
Notes:
Scan all products = scanning all products in the marketplace (commonly for the first time integration or if user hasn't conduct products scan for a long time)
Scan updated products = scanning the recently updated products only
Step 3. Scanning is complete
IV. Scan Single Product
If there is a product that fails to synchronize or out of synch, user can scan the product individually, rather than scanning all the products again.
Step 1. Navigate to the Products menu and enter the product's name
Step 2. Click the Scan button
Step 3. Scanning is complete
