Scan Channel is the ability to scan our products to make sure all of them are in sync with the marketplace. Scan channel processing takes time. At certain times, users need to scan channels to sync or update data between DealPOS and Marketplace.
DealPOS also offers some features that users can use when they want to scan channels. Recently we handle 2 kinds of scan channels:
Synchronous: Scan channels that are directly on the UI, and also we can't do anything while scanning channels in progress.
Asynchronous: Scan channels that cannot be left behind to check other menus or do some activities with another browser.
Notes :
When you're doing the Scan channel Asynchronous, we recommend you not close the browser so the scan on the background is still going on.
Step 1. Go to DealPOS Marketplace Open Product Menu, then Scan Channel
Choose marketplace channel that you want to scan. Choose scan type Synchronous.

Choose "Scan All Products", and "Synchronous".



Notes :
In this step, after the scan is complete, you will get notified. Since you used this scan type, you will not be able to do anything while the scan is fully completed.
Step 2. Go to DealPOS Marketplace Open Product Menu, then Scan Channel
Choose marketplace channel that you want to scan. Choose scan type Aynchronous.

Choose "Scan All Products", and "Asynchronous"


You will get information that the scan you are doing is in progress.

You can track your progress with the "Notification" menu, and you will see status of your scan progress.
