The serial number is the identification number that is assigned to specific products. This serial number is usually given to electronic products such as handphones, cameras, etc. Apart from electronic goods, this product type can also be used for products that have a batch number (expiration date, production date, etc). Products with the same batch number can be filled with more than 1 quantity. Read the following article to find out more information about Batch Tracking Products.
Our DealPOS system is able to create products with every stock of each item having its own unique serial number. It will be useful when you want to make warranty claims by checking the serial number. With the Serialized Type of Products, you can create an Electronic Product with a unique serial number on each stock (eg. Phones, Cameras, Speakers, etc) or Products with a Batch Number (eg. medicine, food, etc).
I. Create Serialized Product
Step 1. Go to Products, then Click Add
Step 2. Fill Out the Form, Choose Serialized Type, then Click Submit
II. Input Serialized Product Inventory Manually
Step 1. Go to Buy, Choose Any Outlet, then Click Ok
Step 2. Input Serialized Product, then Click for Detail
Step 3. Input the Serial Number from the Product, then Click Ok
Notes :
Here you must input the specific Serialized item.
Step 4. Click Pay, then Click Ok
Step 5. Purchase was Completed
III. Check and Update the Serial Number
Step 1. Go to Product, then Select Tab Variant
Step 2. Search Serialized Product/Variant, then Click for the Detail
Step 3. Click Barcode Logo on Any Outlet
Step 4. Change the Serial Number, then Click Submit
