[Tutorial Video] Offline Mode Features on Web Version
DealPOS allows you to continue making sales transactions even when your internet connection is offline. Upon accessing the Sell menu, DealPOS will remain fully functional. The browser automatically stores the necessary cache, enabling uninterrupted sales processing. All orders created in offline mode are securely saved locally within your browser and will be automatically synchronized with the system once connectivity is restored.
I. Sell Mode - Online and Offline
Go to the Sell menu, click Online, then select the Mode tab.
The Mode settings allow you to check your connection status and configure how the system processes orders in Online and Offline modes.
Configuration
Use this section to check whether your browser and the required services are ready to support Offline Mode.
Configuration | Description |
Test Connection | Checks whether the Browser is connected, the Server is reachable, and the Service Worker is active. |
Connected | Displays the current connection status between the browser and the server. |
Offline Mode Settings
Configuration | Description |
Automatic | Automatically switches between Online and Offline modes based on the internet connection. Manual switching is disabled. |
Manual | Allows users to switch between Online and Offline modes manually, including for testing purposes. |
Active Mode
Mode | Description |
Online | Orders are sent directly to the server when placed. |
Offline | Orders are saved in the browser's local storage and synchronized with the server when the connection is restored. |
II. Sync Products
Before using Offline Mode, you need to synchronize your product data to the browser's local storage. This ensures that product information is available when creating sales transactions offline.
Cloud Product
Displays the total number of products available on the server.
Local Product
Displays the total number of products synchronized and stored in the browser's local storage.
In this example, there are 84 Cloud Products and 0 Local Products, meaning the products have not been synchronized to the browser's local storage yet. Click Sync Now to synchronize the product data and store it in the browser's local storage.
The product synchronization is complete. The number of Local Products now matches the number of Cloud Products, and a success notification is displayed.
When to Sync Products?
Product synchronization is required in the following situations:
When synchronizing products for the first time.
When product prices or attributes are updated, to ensure the latest changes are available in the browser's local storage.
After synchronization is complete, the number of Local Products should match the number of Cloud Products.
III. Create Offline Transactions
Step 1. Switch to Offline Mode
Disconnect your internet connection or manually switch to Offline Mode if you are using Manual mode.
Step 2. Create a Sales Transaction
Enter the sales transaction as usual and process the payment.
Step 3. Save the Transaction
The transaction is created and saved in the browser's local storage.
To create another transaction, click New Sell. If your internet connection has been restored and you are ready to upload the saved transactions, proceed to the next section.
IV. Upload Offline Transactions
Step 1. Switch to Online Mode
Ensure your internet connection is restored. If you manually switched to Offline Mode, switch back to Online Mode manually.
Step 2. Upload Transactions
Go to the Orders tab to review the transactions saved in the browser's local storage, then click Upload to Server.

Step 3. Verify the Transactions
Once the upload is successful, go to the Orders menu to verify that the transactions have been uploaded.
Once the upload is successful, go to the Orders menu to verify the transactions. Uploaded offline orders will be labeled Offline, along with the date and time the transaction was created.
