[Tutorial Video] Offline Mode Features on Web Version
DealPOS allows you to continue making sales transactions even when your internet connection is offline. Upon accessing the Sell menu, DealPOS will remain fully functional. The browser automatically stores the necessary cache, enabling uninterrupted sales processing. All orders created in offline mode are securely saved locally within your browser and will be automatically synchronized with the system once connectivity is restored.
I. Sell Mode - Online and Offline
Online mode occurs when your DealPOS application is directly connected to the server via an internet connection. In this mode, orders, products, and configuration data are uploaded and downloaded in real time.
Offline mode occurs when your DealPOS system is not connected to the server due to a lack of internet connection. In this mode, you can still process transactions as long as the product data has been synced from DealPOS to your local storage beforehand. All transactions made in Offline mode are not immediately saved to the server but are temporarily stored in your browser cache. This feature is also known as Offline Order.
II. Sync Products For Offline Transactions
Step 1. Navigate to the Sell Menu
Click the Online button as the following screenshot
Step 2. Select the Products Tab
Click the Synch Now button and wait until the Success notification pop up.
Once success, the product data will be automatically stored in your browser cache.
III. Make Offline Transactions
Step 1. Change to Offline Mode
Navigate to the Sell menu and select the Online button, click the Offline button then click OK button.
Step 2. Input Items
Offline transaction complete
IV. Upload Offline Transactions
Step 1. Switch Back to Online Mode
Step 2. Upload the Invoice
Offline order has been uploaded successfully
Step 3. Verify the Invoice
Navigate to the Orders - Customer Invoice (Invoice already created)
