When making a sales transaction, cashiers in retail stores are generally allowed to create customer data directly during the transaction process. However, in practice, cashiers may not realize that the customer name they are entering already exists in the contact database. This leads to transaction history being recorded separately, as the customer data is duplicated.
To address this issue, you can merge multiple customers contact records into a single customer contact. This ensures that transaction history, earned points, and other related data are consolidated under one customer record. You can merge the customer contact data on DealPOS by user interface. To merge the customer contact data, you can follow the steps below
1. Through DealPOS Contacts UI
Step 1. Go To Customer Menu and Select the Contacts.
Step 2. Select the Customers data You Want to Merge and Click on Merge.
Step 3. Choose The Customer Name to Keep, The Other Will be Deleted.
Step 4. Successfuly Merged Customer's Contact.
Note:
The Selected Customer Will be Saved, and The Deleted one's Transaction History And Loyalty Points Will be Transferred to The Chosen One.
