When you're about to use Promotion or Pricebook price on the sales transaction in the Sell menu, sometimes you might want to show the promotion or pricebook name on the Product notes to inform the customer that the price from the products they've bought is currently using promotion or pricebook price. To set the promotion or pricebook price name in the sell menu you can follow the steps below :

I. Activate Configuration
Step 1. Go to Setup, Click More Menu, then Select Module
Step 2. Go to Sell Tab, then Set Copy to Item Description to Yes
Scroll to pricebook section to see the configuration.
Step 3. Set Copy Promotion Name to Yes, then Click Save
Scroll to product notes section to see the configuration.
II. Make Sales with Pricebook / Promotion
Step 1. Go to Promotion, then Make Promotion Event & Pricebook

Go to the dell menu and make a sales transaction with products that you've set the pricebook or promotion before.
Step 3. Try to Print Invoice & Check the Item Description
Print the customer invoice and see each product's notes. There will be a description of the Promotion and Pricebook from that product.
