When you're about to use Promotion or Pricebook price on the sales transaction in the Sell menu, sometimes you might want to show the promotion or pricebook name on the Product notes to inform the customer that the price from the products they've bought is currently using promotion or pricebook price.
To set the promotion or pricebook price name in the sell menu you can follow the steps below
I. Activate Configuration
Step 1. Go To Settings and Type in The Search Column
Step 2. Type "Copy To Item Description"
Click the result.
Enable it and Save.
Step 3. Search Again and Type "Copy Product Description"
Click the result.
Enable it and Save.
II. Create Sales with Pricebook or Promotion
Step 1. Go to Promotion, then Make Promotion Event or Pricebook

Go to the sell menu and make a sales transaction with products that you've set the pricebook or promotion before.
Step 3. Try to Print Invoice and Check the Item Description
Print the customer invoice and see each product's notes. There will be a description of the Promotion and Pricebook from that product.
