DealPOS has recently introduced a new feature that allows users to register performed delivery services. This feature is useful for keeping track of delivery services and identifying frequently used ones. Before making a transaction with Delivery Service, you need to add the delivery service.
This article will explain how to create a logistics service option and how to record it on the sales invoice.
I. Add Logistics Delivery Option
Step 1. Go to Setup, Click More Menu then Click Logistics Delivery
Step 2. Click Add
Step 3. Submit Services Name & Options, then Click Save
Input the logistics service name, then click the "+" button to add the logistics service option, then click save.
Step 4. Logistics Services is Created
II. Record Logistics Service on Sales Invoice
Step 1. Make Sales Transaction, then Click Note Button
Step 2. Choose Logistics Service, then Click Ok
Step 3. Click Pay to Complete Transaction
Step 4. Check Logistics Service on Invoice Detail
If you want to check the logistics service on the invoice, you can go to the orders menu, and then choose the invoice by clicking the invoice number.
Notes :
The delivery service feature is only for recording purposes and to facilitate data filtering, you cannot input the shipping amount/cost. If you want to record the delivery service along with the nominal / shipping cost, you can use the feature Non-Inventory Product for Shipping Cost.
