If you have more than 1 outlet, you can differentiate the receipt template for each outlet. You have to create a receipt template first, then assign it to the desired outlet. If you have different receipt templates in one outlet, you can differentiate them using the sales order tag feature.
Usually, restaurants want to differentiate receipt templates based on "Dine-In", or "Take Away", or other store scenarios where the receipt format is differentiated. This article will explain how to create a new receipt template format and how to configure sales order tags to the receipt template.
I. Add Receipt Template
If you only have 1 receipt template, then you need to create a new receipt template. However, if you have previously set several different formats, you can skip this step.
Step 1. Go to Outlets, Open Receipt Templates, then Click Add
Step 2. Customize Receipt Template, then Click Save
Step 3. Receipt Template was Created
II. Add & Assign Sales Tag to Receipt Template
If you only have 1 sales order tag, then you need to create a new sales order tag. However, if you have previously created the sales order tag that you want to assign to the receipt template, you can skip this step.
Step 1. Go to Setup, Click More Menu, then Choose Sales Order
Step 2. Click Add
Step 3. Fill General Information, then Click Dropdown
Step 4. Assign Receipt Template, then Click Save
III. Sales Transaction with Different Sales Tag
In this section, we will explain how to create a sales transaction by selecting a specific sales order tag and checking the receipt template display.
Step 1. Go to Sell, Add Item to Shopping Cart, then Click Note
Step 2. Click Tag Tab, Choose Tag, then Click Ok
Step 3. Click Pay to Complete Transaction
Step 4. Check Printing Result
