The following are examples of how manufacturing product types are used:
Bakery/F&B (Converting flour, eggs, and butter into a loaf of bread).

VI. Complementary Products
Complementary products are supplementary items provided to customers free of charge or as support for the main product they purchase. Although they are given to customers at no cost, these products still have physical form and a COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) value. The following are examples of how complementary products are used:
Shopping Supplies (Plastic bags, paper bags).
Bonuses (Free strickers, greeting cards).
Dining Utensils (Plastic spoons, disposable chopsticks, straws).
Complementary products typically do not have a selling price, only a purchasing cost, as they are provided to customers to support the main product purchase.
A more in depth explanation regarding complementary products can be found in the following article: Complementary Product Article.
VII. Multi Unit and Base Unit Products
A Base Unit is the smallest unit of a product that cannot be broken down further. For example, if you sell beverages, then one bottle is the base unit. Meanwhile, a Multi-Unit product is a larger unit consisting of multiple base units. An example of a multi-unit is one carton (containing 24 bottles). In this case, one multi-unit (1 carton) consists of 24 base units (24 bottles).
When a product uses both a base unit and multi unit measurements, it will include a 'Multi Unit' tab. This section is used to manage unit conversions, helping the system understand that 1 Box contains a certain number of individual pieces.
